Our Tawhiri Power project in South Point, Hawaii is another successful, cost effective, clean and sustainable source of energy for Hawaii Island. It’s non-toxic, carbon free and has provided on-going work for T&T ELECTRIC, INC.

The Hawaiʻi Clean Energy Initiative set a goal to be 100% dependent on clean energy by 2045. We have been involved in utility scale projects with different partners to help Hawaii achieve this ambitious goal.

We were awarded the contract to assist with the rebuilding of the 38 MW power plant that was damaged by the 2018 eruption and lava flow. We also were awarded the construction of a new 48 MVA, 69 kV substation. Once again, providing clean, firm power to the grid and to our Island Community.
